- a baby coded and i got to give chest compressions (using only two fingers)
- my amphetamine baby went home
- i saw a C-section complete with a tubal ligation
- my first new patient of the day was a potential turner’s syndrome kid (webbed neck, widely spaced nipples, abnormal facies) who had multiple cardiac issues, such as a PDA, membranous VSD, and coarcation of the aorta.
- i got to squirt erythromycin gunk into a newly born baby’s eyes
- i watched a very bloody, very smelly vaginal delivery of a large baby by a very large woman. the kid had meconium aspiration. yum.
- apparently, a strange, pointy, fleshy thingy sticking out of a female baby’s genitalia may be normal.
- i have put together a very boring presentation for tomorrow.
