eeew.
today, i saw a cervical LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure) on a poor girl with a HGSIL. geez. it was a relatively quick procedure, but gruesome all the same. i swear, just play a video of the whole thing with the tagline: “Use a Condom. Seriously.”
the rest of the day in clinic was slow– vaginal exams and pap smears for random wierdness down there. it’s not exactly the most glamorous job… i’ll be glad when these 6 weeks are over. tomorrow, though i’ll be up on L&D– perhaps i’ll catch a few babies.
