blast from the past

neogeo.gifan old friend emailed me today (hi tom!)… and reminded me that my websites from high school were still active.
annie and i clicked through them, and laughed our heads off at my absolute wierdness. i’m sure that 10 years from now i’ll think the same thing about my current ramblings… why else would i post anything?

my favorite finding was noelle’s poem about the wendy’s lady:

I pull into Wendy’s and what do I see?
The Mint Lady opening the door just for me!

With her quick little walk and a peppermint smile
She makes overpriced food all too worthwile

She refills my drink, she picks up my trash,
She hands me a mint, then she’s off with a flash

Although I don’t understand her accented speech
I know it was nice ’cause she’s a sweet little peach!

Seeing the Mint Lady always makes my day
Until I’m locked out of English for being muy tarde.

She says she’ll move back to Mexico to be with her people,
She’ll probably have to, ’cause I think she’s illegal

Me, Mike, Kim and my Sidekick will miss her a bunch
Because we’ll have no where else to hang out at lunch

But, I know she’ll remember us wherever she goes,
Because of the day she called us amigos.

other oddities:

- my main page
- the sticker picture obsession
- pictures from my first (amazingly ghetto) digital camera
