in a series of dramatic events suitable only for a made-for-tv-movie, my dear friend maggie left home to escape the wrath of her mother, and to be with the man that she loves. sadly, she flew out of sunny southern california last wednesday, and is probably freezing her tush off right now in the wild blue yonder.

and… although i’m happy for her– and i’m sure her boy is ecstatic– i’m already starting to miss all the teas, lunches, and early morning dumpling runs that could have been.
