my love of the garden in a bag has led me to discover even more fabulous container growing kits. namely:

the fingerose. grow a plant in a test-tube esque container sans soil. love the colored gel. i’m partial to the rose and the green tea versions. they’re perfect for a tiny office space or my (even tinier) apartment.

annie’s friend’s aunt sent her a 5 pound box of these babies. is it a cupcake, is it a cookie? who cares! it’s goooooooooooooood.

finally, romantic lighting without the danger of setting my house (and myself) on fire. check out these wireless, fireless, super sexy, rechargable lights. just grab them off the charger and stick them everywhere. it’s touted as child-safe… but what’s more, it’s kim-safe. 5 hours of light… and then you just put them back on the plate to recharge. no extra batteries to buy. faboo!

and what’s more, they’ll all automatically come on if the power fails… so they’re emergency lights, too.

and just one more thing: my birthday’s only 5 months away.

apparently, crate and barrel has a very ikea-ish chicago store — CB2. i like it! the prices aren’t that much lower– but it feels brighter, younger, more party friendly. when are they going to open one up here?

japanese people are great. check out these dolls made for old people. it’s all about simulated company when no one will play with you.
