there are signs up everywhere

Tuesday, March 18th, 2003 at about 2:49 pm

there are signs up everywhere announcing the annual “spring cleaning” of our fair city. i wonder if i’ll notice a difference. the bright pink strip club that i pass on the way to school is getting into it, though. it’s being renovated right now — but rest assured — it’s still open while under construction.

the pink blossoms that were so plentiful a week ago have gone– there are only a half dozen or so left on the trees surrounding my apartment. in their place– ugly red leaves that are sure to fall to the ground and muck up the entire place. i can’t believe the one thing that brought a little beauty to this place is already gone.

time to move.
