this morning, as i ignored my work and peeled a beautiful california navel orange, i was struck with inspiration, dizziness, excitement– for there in my hands was a beautifully perfect, sweet, sticky orange slice butterfly. i ate it, of course, but spent the rest of the day excitedly planning my next photo shoot.
the torrential rain spoiled my plans to hike up mt. baldy– but the weekend wasn’t a total bust. after watching a dissapointing laker game, the boyfriend and i found some indoor basketball courts to play on until i somehow strained a muscle in my arm. a thai iced tea and a large plate of curry and pineapple fried rice later, ryan and i were back to playing rainy day games– namely, power yoga with me as the all knowing teaching in my new superman tank top.
