happy birthday, mom!

it was my mom’s birthday today– so we went out for sushi and a trip to the huntington gardens (it’s free thursday!). it was a fun day– lots of joking around and oohing and ahhing over the flowers and trees.
i’m tired now– and wondering if the lakers won. any news?
