i went back again to my yoga class for the first time in months– and happily enough, i saw three girls from school there. the class was brutal– a glaring reminder of why i should never, ever, ever skip a class. it was fun, though– and i’m looking forward to going to the gym more. i just have to tear myself away from my books in time.

so, i sit– legs slightly quiverring from the night’s experience, and mouth full of spicy hamburger.

and yes, it is getting all over the place.

after a long, arduous sunday of studying, i went out for some grocery shopping and strangely enough, ended up with a beautiful new (huge) backpack, new pens and pencils, and a new reason for living.

so, now i sit and eat my new creation: sauteed salmon on parmesean covered penne. yum!

and, beautifully enough, my friend has just offered to loan me her old books for the year. hooray! i guess the bookstore won’t be draining me after all.

it’s hot.

i brought home a happy new burberry-esque plaid papillon from the mall today– a nice little bag to carry around my cameras in. of course, i was hopeing for a nice louis vuitton one beautiful enough to store the retro gucci sunglasses (that i have yet to buy) in it, but that will have to wait.

in the meantime… i’m happy to be back galavanting with old friends– perhaps i’ll even get my butt back to the gym to salvage what’s left of my muscles. after all, i know all their names by now.

toodle-oo, scooby doo!

day two of my new fishies: three of the four are doing well– swimming around and eating like mad. my pretty yellow and red swordtail, however, is just hiding at the bottom of the tank under the filter. i worry about him.

i got back this morning from a fabulous vacation with the family in san diego. sadly enough, i only got a light tan– but somehow burned my scalp on one of our boating excursions. the resort was fabulous– complete with private beach, ducks, and jacuzzi complete with evil british child.

i’m tired now, but excited to be facilitating for anatomy this year. woo hoo! to celebrate… i’m thinking of splurging on some super fabulous gucci sunglasses… or laker tickets. my original plan to head off to vegas for the blue man group will have to be postponed until i find time to take a vacation from school.

i bought me some pretty fish to brighten up my tank– hopefully they’ll start having babies in about a month. i have a handful of guppy babies in there already… but they’re just plain grey. i need some color!

oh yeah… and i need a tripod. why do i keep forgetting?
