i got up on time this morning, showered, and packed my backpack full of books and a bag full of lunchy and headed out to meet analiza at the library on time. once i was at school, i stepped off of the curb into a huge puddle of water, filling one of my shoes. i limped my way to the library and sat down at a table, took off my shoes, and realized:
i was wearing two different shoes.
one black, one blue. one wet, one dry. one really sad little med student. i sat and tried to study for about 10 minutes, debating whether or not i could stand to spend the day explaining my choice of footwear. uhm…no. i drove home, swapped shoes, and drove back again– cursing my absentmindedness the whole way.
i swear, sometimes i think i really am smart like britney spears.
