first day back
my first day back into the world of alarm clocks, hurried breakfasts, and endless lectures was a bust. i got up late, barely got to school on time, missed an omm lunch meeting, and fought the urges to collapse from exhaustion in the middle of physio lecture. afterwards, i went to honda, where they told me it would cost a million dollars to replace a plastic protector thingy on the bottom of my car. arrrrrrrrrrgh. the happy news? cindi came by and brought me a xmas present– david and goliath fridge magnets! quelle cool. nothin’ says lovin’ like a fish labled “sushi” on your fridge door. we had bagels and wandered the mall for makeup and pretty shiny things before she went off to play raquetball and i went home to study.
…and then i got the email. last minute crap happy clinical medicine assignment due tomorrow. arrrrrgh. arrrrrrrrrrrgh. arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh. at least we don’t have to dress up to see patients. i already have to trudge through the rain tomorrow in omm clothes.
to top it all off, i’m suddenly plagued by an army of ants that have a strange affinity for my bathroom trash.
i think i must have been very, very bad in a past life. or maybe this one.
