this afternoon we had another clinical exercise: taking a sexual history. i was all prepared for my 20 something girl with a strange rash, my 70 year old with prostate cancer with bone mets, my 40 year old man with a plethora of STDs.
i didn’t get any of those, of course, and walked into the lab to meet my mock patient, a teenager (braces and all), who asked me if i could tell him “what was wrong with him”.
