so… the barrage of exams is over– and i’m back to lounging around with my board books and shopping for fun stuff online for my new place. in 3 more days i’ll no longer be bunking on annie’s couch. in about a week and a half i’ll probably have dsl again. in about a month and a half, i’ll be done with boards and laying around the house until my rotations begin.

in the meantime, i’ll keep singing along with renee olstead, and go over my inborn errors of metabolism.

my. new. apartment. is. so. cool.

i think annie’s going stir-crazy. i came home early from my omm exam yesterday to find her bouncing off the walls and in desperate need of a walk. so… we went shopping. she bought towels, and although i promised myself i wouldn’t buy anything for my new apartment until after i moved in, i picked up magnetic rabbit-esque salt and pepper grinders (on sale!) and a new bodum teapot (i heart cost plus!).

i’m moving in 7 days! as soon as i’m settled, i’m planning on making a nice pot of tea… and something with salt and pepper. and wine. and maybe some waffles (heart shaped). it’s going to be a strange meal.

right now, i feel ill. a couple more hours of class, and then i’m off to study for my 2 exams on monday/boards. bring on the tea!

apparently, crate and barrel has a very ikea-ish chicago store — CB2. i like it! the prices aren’t that much lower– but it feels brighter, younger, more party friendly. when are they going to open one up here?

8am to 9pm.

there was no studying this weekend– we were too busy driving all around so cal.

saturday, ryan and i drove up and down PCH looking at potential wedding sites. we hiked up and down hills, braved shady staircases, and shot pictures galore. i found a nice home in laguna beach that i’d like to buy… perhaps in 20 years when i’ve actually been employed for a while. everyone needs a weekend beach home.
