yes, friends, it is here, the happy translucent pink game boy advance– complete with harvest moon! it’s strange playing on such a tiny tiny screen, but it’ll have to do. i need something to destract me during my upcoming 11 hour day of travel to philly. that is, if they don’t ban nintendo on flights before then. argh.
after a long day of being cooped up in the house (i was studying, he was warcrafting), ryan and i ran off to old town. we ended up at malagueta- a brazilian mediterranean restaurant with seat s outside perfect for people watching. i had a fantastic garlic chicken dish. it smelled SO good, and tasted better! it sat on a green (very spicy) sauce and this wierd breadcrumb thing that was al together quite satisfying. ryan had a salmon with a herby tomatoey sauce– also quite good. just… not as good as the chicken.
afterwards, we wandered down colorado for some frozen yogurt– but the line was out the door. so… we wandered around old town and then wandered home.
on another, more depressing note, i have been sick now for 10 days. still coughing up mucus, and have developed strange allergy symptoms.
and… test tomorrow! don’t cave into the FEAR!
