pre-flight lunch
Stopped by piedmont on the way to the airport for some ethiopian food. So goot. The neighborhood is super cute - will have to explore sometime.

We splurged again on a tasting menu at Redd, just down the street from Bouchon. I'm a fan of the tuna tartare with the puffed rice on top and the sole with clams and chorizo, and foamy foam.
We may or may not have eaten ourselves into a lobster - steak frites - croque madame - cherry ice cream - pot de creme coma next door before coming here. And… We may or may not have bought many
macarons to snack on later. I will not mention the brioche
Built in the 1800s, it now holds the fermenting tanks for frog's leap winery. This is my favorite winery so far- complete with a great history, great wines, a gigantic fooding garden and orchard, and
a beautiful recycled eco-friendly house.
Nothin' says lovin' like sleeping in Every. Single. Day. me gusta!
Wineries we've visited so far:
Hagafen: great sauv blanc. Kosher!
Black Stallion
V. Sattui: good cheese!
Raymond
Diamond: harsh, yo.
Andretti: good sparkling and rose
We stopped by V. Sattui for wine/cheese tasting and then a picnic lunch. We grabbed a baguette, brie, truffled pate, and grapes. And then… BBQ tri tip. So good.
Wandering the vineyards after some yummy sauv blanc.
Moblogging from our little bank-turned italian restaurant in napa. Yay for food!
